"roughly seventy-two phone photos of tree bark, where people came and sprayed neon yellow dots on them maybe to signal whether the trees are sick or healthy nobody really knows but just something to think about"
is the official title of this work. It explores themes of longing and belonging, as well as nature and our relationship to it.

Created over an extended period, the project comprises dozens of photographs. The work exists in two formats: as a bound book and as a selection of large-format prints. Not every photograph was printed at this scale. The prints were exhibited for one year in the cafeteria of Pforzheim University.
